Offline Café is a pop-up in Amsterdam, four times a year. You hand in your phone, pour a coffee, pick a pastry still warm from the oven, and talk to whoever is sitting next to you.

Why we go offline

Most of us have hundreds of contacts and not many people to have coffee with.

We spend our days in group chats, feeds and video calls, and still come home feeling like we haven't really talked to anyone. Offline Café is our small answer to that.

Four times a year we take over a space in Amsterdam and turn it into a café for one afternoon. There's one rule: phones stay at the door.

You don't need to bring anything, know anyone, or be good at small talk.
